We respect your right to control your data. This page explains how to request deletion of your Vanigan account and what data will be removed.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account information — Phone number, display name, and authentication credentials
- Location data — Any active session location data associated with your account
- Voice recordings — All voice announcements uploaded by you (for vendor accounts)
- Favorites — Saved favorite sellers and items (for customer accounts)
- Session history — All active session records linked to your account
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will not be able to recover any data after deletion is complete.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: From Within the App
- Open the Vanigan app
- Go to your Dashboard or Map screen
- Tap Logout
- Contact us using the form below to permanently delete all stored data
Option 2: Submit a Deletion Request
Use the form below to request complete account deletion. We will process your request within 7 business days.
Deletion Timeline
- Immediate: Active sessions are terminated and location broadcasting stops
- Within 24 hours: Account is deactivated and no longer accessible
- Within 7 days: All personal data, recordings, and preferences are permanently deleted from our servers
- Within 30 days: Data is purged from backup systems
Data Retained After Deletion
In certain cases, we may retain minimal data as required by law:
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
- Records required for legal compliance or dispute resolution
